The Archangels Q&A

Hello,

A few days ago, I asked fans to send their questions about the series. Below are the questions answered.

Q: How many books will be in The Archangel Series?
A: There will be eight books in the whole series. However, I am strongly considering making short in-between stories to tell the untold stories that didn't make it to any of the books.

Q: Do you know how your series will end?
A: Yes, I know exactly how it will end. Thinking about it makes me sad and happy at the same time. I will miss these characters, but I'm excited to write my next series as well.

Q: What roles do female characters take on in your series?
A: The female characters in my books take on a bunch of different roles including the leader, the warrior, the damsel, the lady, the villain, and the victim. I think it's important to have both strong male and female characters because not only does it make it more realistic, but I also believe it helps the story move forward in more ways than one.

Q: How did you come up with the idea for the series?
A: I believe it was the second episode of Supernatural that gave me the idea. The episode featured a wendigo (native american werewolf) and the brothers were hunting it and that's how I got the idea for the entire series.

Q: How does your series differ from Twilight?
A: Twilight is a love story between a mortal girl, a vampire, and a skinwalker. Though The Archangel Series does have romantic sub-plots, the series centers upon the never-ending war against evil. The series is a bloody and gritty and the only thing I can compare it to would be the Underworld movies.

Q: Why is it called The Archangel Series?A: In the books, there is an organization that has dedicated their lives to fighting evil and they are called The Archangels. Most of the characters in the series fight with the Archangels.

Q: What will the title of book 3 be?
A: Book 3 will be called FREEDOM.

Q: What do each of your books represent?
A: IMMORTAL represented family. RESISTANCE represented discovery. FREEDOM will represent independence.

Q: How do you come up with your characters' names?
A: It depends on the character. A lot of times, I will do a search for a certain type of name - region, ethnicity, time era, etc.. For the main characters, Alexander and Marcus. I got Alexander from Alexander the Great and Marcus from Marcus Aurelius. Both strong names and figures that I've personally respected.

Q: Have you ever used people you know to create a character?
A: Yes. I've used appearance for some and personality for others. For instance, Sinead's appearance is based off someone I used to know. Alexander's personality is based off my own.

Q: If they were to make a movie based off your books, who would you want to play the characters?
A: I've given this a lot of thought actually. Perfect fit for Alexander and Marcus would be Liam and Chris Hemsworth.

Thanks for reading!

~ Tim
